Yesterday Tesla reached yet another milestone, becoming the first ever automaker to produce 1,000,000 electric cars. Red Model Y became the anniversary vehicle. There is no other automaker getting close to such numbers of EV volume production.

By the way, Tesla plans to reach over than half of that amount in annual production rate already this year: by the end of 2020 Fremont factory should reach annual production volume of 500,000 cars, while Gigafactory 3 in Shanghai aims at 150,000 cars at the same period.
