While everyone are waiting for the big Tesla software 8.1 release, that is expected to add functionality to new cars with autopilot hardware v2 and UI improvements, the company just launched a minor 8.0.2 update with a few but quite convenient changes.

The first one is about the navigation. Now while planning the route through Superchargers you should see a list of amenities within the walking distance of charging stations. Restaurants, restrooms, stores, Wi-Fi points just to name a few.

And the second one will definitely be useful for those who share their cars between several owners. Now the car settings menu at the main screen allows to assign each driver’s profile to a specific key fob. After the procedure your Tesla will adjust the seat, steering wheel and other stuff just as soon as it detects the key.
