Rimac Automobili, famous for its astonishing all-electric hypercars, brought an upgraded version of Concept_One to Geneva Motor Show. 2018 model has even more amazing characteristics than its predecessor.
Concept_One got a 90 kWh battery pack (previous generation had 82 kWh of capacity) and Rimac claims several more improvements to the car’s drivetrain and electronics. The output is 900 kW (1224 hp) of power, 2.4 sec of 0-60 mph (2.5 sec of 0-100 km/h). The speed of 125 mph (200 km/h) may be reached in 6 seconds, while 14 seconds is enough to reach 186 mph (300 km/h). The Concept_One’s top speed is 355 km/h and the range on a single charge is close to 350 km (218 miles).
Additionally, Rimac claims its Torque Vectoring System to provide ultimate driving experience. System controls each motor (thus each wheel) 100 times per second, ensuring the maximum dynamics and handling under any conditions.
By the way, in 2017 Rimac plans to sell 8 units of Concept_One.
