A few days ago Nissan confirmed the second generation Leaf to be unveiled 6th September and feature autonomous driving ProPILOT system. Now the automaker says new Leaf will have the autonomous parking feature in addition to the ability of driving automatically on highways.

According to the press release, 2018 Leaf will be able to perform parallel, angled, front or straight back-in parking, handling the accelerator, braking and steering on its own. The driver is able to apply brakes any time if necessary.
